Also if getting a repair – they have to be done in a reasonable amount of time, else you are entitled to a refund since it is a major failure
I have that many brands in there due to lost or sometimes damaged tool it looks like I've been garage saleing them. Get some thing like the Sidchrome 6mm to 25mm, ¼" to 1" set or a brand around that price and you may find the larger ROE's in a set or have to buy them individually. Personally I prefer ROE to double open or ring as sometimes you need both in a tight space.
. I have bought stuff from them since this debacle, but its only cheap easy stuff, bare name brand tools; stuff that if it does go wrong can be warranted easily. I used to recommend them as the dispatching etc was really quick but i generally tell people to avoid them now. Such a shame too, it really makes no business sense for them to give their customers the run around... if the items are faulty they go back to the manufacturer its not like they carry the cost, all that happens is they lose a customer...
I wonder if they packaged up some one else's order into the parcel by mistake. Maybe some one else got your items in their parcel.
Yeah, I don't agree with retailers locking their mitts on your money once you've handed it over in situations like these. Trouble is, last time I tried raising a complaint to the Department of Fair Trade almost 15 years ago arguing that they sold me a product which was unnecessary and returned unopened, still in resellable condition, they just told me that they would put my complaint on file with no mention of forcing them to offer me a refund instead of a store credit.
If you use your holesaw kit only once in a while, then the cheaper standard kits from bunnings/sydney tools will do.
I put the items in my basket, call the store to make sure it’s in stock. Then it’s ready for click and collect 10 mins later.
I called up to discuss an advertised on line deal with regard to the 'free' extras being thrown in and possible options prior to ordering and found the person I dealt with very helpful.
Is buying random stocks and then selling off the ones that go down a good way to reduce capital gains tax?
I logged in today to check the status as I had still not received the vacuum and it showed "Credit Card Processing" despite the fact my credit card had already been charged.
That's exactly why I didn't hand over my card until I checked all the contents of my whipper snipper first. Nobody gets my money if I don't get what should be in the box.
He said sorry but that is how they always do it. I said, "well that sucks" because I was not told beforehand about delivery fees. He said "Yes you would have been told".

One came in a case and one didn't. It never specified that one wouldn't ship, at least, I swore it didn't. The link on the website in fact did say skin-only with no box.
